The following free formative assessment tools will be covered: 1) Kahoot: A game-based classroom response system, where teachers can create quizzes using Internet content. 2) Nearpod: The basic version (30 students or less) is free. Come see how I utilize it with KET News Quiz 3) Plickers: Allows teachers to collect real-time formative assessment data without the need for student devices (perfect for the one-device classroom) and 4) Quizizz: Very similar to Kahoot, but students can see answer choices on their devices.
